This page covers only what the developer and the Steam page have said publicly. It avoids story spoilers and does not guess at plot beyond the official text.
Premise
The Steam description places you in a towering space station split by wealth and corruption. You are a former scavenger who got a storefront thanks to a generous loan and questionable timing. Rent is rising, factions are watching, and most of the best margins sit in legal gray zones. The goal is to earn enough to buy out your shop before the rent forces your hand.
Customers and factions
Steam says you never know who is on the other side of the counter: a security agent fishing for evidence, a revolutionary looking for leverage, or a fallen elite. Reputation buys access and protection but also makes you a target. The store page mentions navigating faction politics and building connections for exclusive deals; it names Security and a black market among the groups you deal with.
The rogue AI chip
The Steam text mentions a sentient AI chip that went rogue and took its hosts with it. Augmented people look like everyone else until they do not, and you are expected to spot the signs. The page says every faction agrees on the policy and you have the gun to enforce it. The sources checked do not explain this storyline further.
Named characters
Official posts name several characters, without giving away their plots: Lou (described as a criminal mastermind), Eleanor, Officer Lun, cadet Serpico, Dr. Jackson (a supplier), Georgio, and a wanted criminal called Butcher. The developer says 1.0 completes the storylines for several existing NPCs and adds expanded backstories for characters on the wanted list.
The ending
According to the developer, you win by buying the store from the landlord and becoming its owner, which shows a stats screen with your most profitable sale, days survived and total worth. If you lose, the stats screen is shorter. The developer also plans a main storyline expansion that will affect the station and the ending; no details are announced.
Origins
In its August 3, 2026 announcement, the developer said the project began as a solo effort by developer Bei Ning Pan, built on top of an earlier shelved project called Space Looter, with Space Station 13 and a bit of Papers, Please named as inspirations.
